Learn. Create. Grow.

Take the first step toward becoming one of the millions of people who make their own music! Making music can bring you joy, peace, and a sense of pride in your work. It challenges us mentally and spiritually. With modern technology being what it is and the cost barrier becoming less and less, more people than ever have the ability to create beautiful works of art in their own home. Even if they've never played an instrument in their lives!

Whether you have zero experience or have been at it a while and need guidance, I can help. It costs nothing to schedule a quick chat with me to get you pointed in the right direction. We can talk about anything in regards to your musical journey, including:

-What music software/hardware is right for you.

-How you can use what software/hardware you have to begin creating music.

-Music theory or songwriting related questions.

-A production technique you'd like to know more about.

-Mix engineering

-The weather

A quick session could be the difference between you finding your answer in 30 minutes, or spending a bazillion hours troubleshooting with google or scouring YouTube for good information.

"Mike is an incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and motivating teacher. In just a couple of months I learned more about production than I could ever have by YouTube or teaching myself."

"Mike's classes are awesome! Taught me how to make my low end clear and my kicks hit hard. His production tips really helped me enjoy my favorite hobby and take it to another level!"

"Mike is an awesome music production teacher. He’s super organized and does a great job explaining complicated stuff in a way that actually makes sense. I love how he simplifies workflows and gives real context to everything we’re working on- I find that to be critical in both giving me the confidence to keep experimenting and in trusting in the creation process. Plus, the homework and lesson plans he puts together really help keep me on track and moving forward. If you're looking for someone who truly knows how to teach and guide you in music production, Mike is your guy for sure."

What makes the coaching program special?

Every student who purchases a coaching package receives a personalized curriculum detailing our approach to achieving their goals. While I may use supplemental material as a guide, there is no one-size-fits-all course when it comes to coaching. We will pinpoint what you want to accomplish during our time together and create a roadmap to completing it.

In addition to one-on-one sessions, you will have messaging access to me in-between our weekly meetings where you can ask small questions and I can share text based relevant information and links to resources. This means not having to wait the whole week until our next session if you get stuck. I will reply within 24 hours.

I only accept 15 students at any given time. This means that I am completely focused on and available to YOU! This is not a side job that I do for extra cash. My job (besides having to make social media content and continue writing my own music) is to ensure that you are receiving a proper and well-rounded education.

What is the difference between monthly lessons and the coaching program?

Monthly lessons subscriptions only include the 4 one hour long lessons. Unlike the coaching program it does not include messaging access to me during the week in between our lessons, it does not include a personalized curriculum.

The coaching program is geared toward students who are more serious about learning and gaining experience faster than those who may want to approach music production more casually.

I periodically upload educational videos to YouTube in regards to all things for music makers. While YouTube will never be a substitute for one-on-one lessons, it does offer a platform for finding good supplemental material. Subscribe to my page to receive new videos and program announcements.
